Sanctuary Cove is a gated resort community on the Coomera River, with homes along the golf courses, waterfront houses near the marina and townhouses close to the village. Most homes here are large and finished to a high standard, with solid timber doors, generous outdoor living areas and detailed ceilings. When something needs fixing, the repair has to sit comfortably alongside work that was done well the first time.
That's where a patient carpenter helps. We protect floors and finishes before we start, keep dust down when we patch plaster, and take the time to match architrave, skirting and cornice profiles. If a heavy door has dropped or swollen, we sort out the hinges and seal the edges rather than reaching straight for the plane. On decks, we check the frame underneath before recommending anything bigger than a restoration.

Can you replace a front door on a Sanctuary Cove home?
Yes. We measure the opening, check the frame is sound and square, and talk you through solid timber, pivot and made-to-measure options to suit the house. If the community needs to approve a change to the front of the home, sort that out first and we'll give you the sizes and details you need for it.
How do you keep mess down in a finished home?
We lay floor protection along the path we'll use and cut timber outside wherever we can. For plaster repairs we sand carefully and vacuum as we go, so dust doesn't travel through the house. At the end of each day we clean up and take our offcuts and rubbish away with us.
Can you add a bulkhead or feature ceiling to an existing home?
Yes. We build plasterboard bulkheads, cove channels for LED strip lighting and TV feature walls in existing homes, working around the ceiling heights and finishes already there. A licensed electrician does all the wiring and connections, and we can coordinate them so the work happens in the right order.
